Children’s Defense Fund’s Youth Policy Advisory Committee cordially invites high school youth to attend the CDF-CA Youth Summit on the School to Prison Pipeline. The “School to Prison Pipeline” is a crisis where our youth are being pushed out of public schools and into the juvenile justice system. Any youth interested in learning about this crisis in our schools and communities, related social justice issues, as well as what we can do to replace this pipeline to one leading toward college and careers, are highly encouraged to attend the CDF-CA Youth Summit.
